Track: Elysaé has the voice of an angel

Elysaé

Central coast based artist, Elysaé has announced the release of a new track ‘Angel (Wash it Away)’. The single will feature on her highly-anticipated, upcoming EP ‘You Might As Well Shout’.

Elysaé has said that ‘Angel (Wash it Away)’ reflects her personal journey of finding and reclaiming her voice and reflects the tension that rises when emotions are repressed.

“This song was first conceived from a very broken place but through the process of production, film making, sharing and performing, the heartache transformed into connection and empowerment. I hope that it serves as a reminder of the power of your voice and encourages you to be brave enough to express yourself authentically too.” – Elysaé

The stunning video for ‘Angel (Wash it Away)’, which was filmed by Joel Bryant features flame dancers and the natural beauty of the coastline where Elysaé is based. The multi-talented Elysaé, worked with Bryant to create the storyline for the short film, thus ensuring that the video reflects the theme of liberation and release of the song.

‘Angel (‘Wash it Away’) is a soaring anthem, with Elysaé’s voice floating above the orchestration. It features an extremely catchy chorus and slowly builds to a triumphant climax.

Elysaé recently did her first headline show in Sydney and with the EP to follow shortly, it is clear that this central coast woman, with the voice of an angel is going places.
