Hailing from Munich, Karaba are a five piece jazz group who are recent signings to Berlin’s Kryptox label. The group are set to release their first EP on the label – ‘Pheromon Crumble Wax’ due 27th November. The first single to be taken from the EP is track – Spacefunk.
The track floats all softly as each instrument introduces itself before solid ground is found with a funky bass riff and drum line. Dreamy notes combine with the rock-funk inspired backbeat. The whole band join in for some space funk fun as they flow through psychedelic/fusion mix. The mastery of the instruments and the clear talent of these guys shines through.
