US post-hardcore troupe Revisionist have released their new single/video for ‘Salient Rite’.
Founded in 2016, the Wichita, Kansas band formed with the simple intent to write unrelentingly honest music, devoid of any gimmicks.
Formed with members of The Gentleman Homicide, and Take It Back, Revisionist have amassed well over a decade of cumulative experience before setting forth the goal to take hardcore back to a more simple and pure time.
In the words of guitarist Joshua Barbee: “‘Salient Rite’ really focuses on the hardships and struggles we as people go through. How much better one becomes as they deal and learn from the situations. How it affects your circle and elevates as a whole.”
Straight out the blocks this song is a tight rage. The guitar and drum attack is very well synced. Keeping everything simple has certainly worked for these lads. This is a hell of a great track with nothing fancy just pure intense screaming metal.
