It’s been 10 years since the guys first album, ‘Funny Looking Angels’ but the duo return with another selection of well written tracks with their second album, ‘Only Smith & Burrows Is Good Enough’ due 19 February via PIAS recordings. Along with the news the guys are pleased to share the video for new track ‘Parliament Hill’.
About the track Smith says; “That’s my favourite song on the album and it’s a beautiful song for now, when we’re all craving connection to people and places. It captures a real, still moment.”
Simple piano and strummed acoustic are all you need with these two voices. Smiths deep soulful bellow and Burrows higher falsetto are absolutely perfect. Theres a simple joy here thats not forced and found in the talent of two superb songwriters. This is a must for any music fan.
