Blending punching, distortion tinted beats, layers of luscious piano, synth and subby bass, the track creates a pillowy bed for the driving overdriven guitars and tight vocal delivery. Urgent, intensely catchy and strikingly infectious, the tracks lead line gives the track an intense commercial appeal which contrasts well against the punching rock elements and the cinematic electronics to create a track which truly encompasses all the varying elements Totten Bridge wishes to encompass within his sound.
Speaking about the track, Totten explains: “‘Control’ is about the conflict of trying to maintain balance in life both personally and in the world. It’s about pausing to consider what the important things really are in life and always trying to find that balance because the alternative is not good.”
