After announcing the band are set to release their new album ‘Omens‘, due the 7th of October via Nuclear Blast, the band have shared the first taste with new single ‘Nevermore’.
Omens is a furious entry in the Lamb Of God catalogue, perhaps their angriest album yet.
“The world is crazy and keeps changing. Omens is a reaction to the state of the world,”
explains vocalist D. Randall Blythe.
“It’s a very pissed-off record.” He pauses for emphasis. “It is extremely pissed-off.”
The band kick off the build-up to the new album on fine form with this angular scream-a-thon. Blythe treats us to some spoken word/cleaner singing along with his guttural bellow, whilst the jagged guitars and frantic drumming up hold their trade mark aural assault.
