Oakland producer and rapper Ovrkast. releases a video single, the title track from his newest project, Try Again. The single features Samplelov. The video is by Ryosuke Tanzawa. The album itself includes guest verses from three of underground hip-hop’s biggest stars, Mavi, Navy Blue and Pink Siifu. It also includes contributions from Demahijae and Mitch. The cover art was shot by @quick22. The contemplative nature of the video, mostly in black and white, considers the creative process and its challenges. Try Again becomes a mantra: be true to your art and persevere. Tune out the outside world and the voices that conspire against you. Try again. Be true to yourself.
