On a rainy Saturday night, July 15th, American musician, singer-songwriter, and producer Father John Misty took to Dublin’s Iveagh Gardens for a show that can only be described as ethereal. The former Fleet Foxes drummer performed

Support on the night came from Belfast-based artist Naomi Hamilton, commonly known as Jealous Of The Birds.

Jealous Of The Birds

At 9pm, despite the heavy downpour of rain, out walked Father John Misty, whose real name is Joshua Tillman.

The singer, who recently supported Lana Del Ray in Hyde Park, performed a two-hour set made up of tracks from his discography dating back to his 2012 debut Fear Fun, all the way to his most recent record Chloë and the Next 20th Century.

The two-hour set had it all; captivating storytelling, emotive lyrics, impressive dance moves, and a top-class performer doing what he loves.
