If you’re in the mood this evening for a leisurely, almost lounge-esque track to ease you into the upcoming weekend, Brooklyn collaborators Crumb is exactly the easy, relaxed group of artists for that.
Their single, “Ghostride”, is laid-back, dreamy number taken from their forthcoming album Jinx, scheduled for release June 14th.
A sanguine piece from the quartet, the group formed in 2016 with the goal of developing and recording a collection of songs vocalist/guitarist Lila Ramani had written in high school and college, the work ultimately resulting in the band’s first two EPs, 2016’s Crumb and 2017’s Locket.
If the “loose-jazz-meets-psych” fourpiece, rounded out by Brian Aronow (synth, keys, sax), Jesse Brotter (bass), and Jonathan Gilad (drums) is something you’d be curious to see in a live setting, Crumb play three shows in the United Kingdom early September.
September 1st – Dorset, End of the Road Festival
September 3rd – Manchester, YES
September 4th – London, The Dome
