South Carolina’s HeyRocco are headed back to the UK, in support of their Teenage Movie Soundtrack, which showed they were fine purveyors of messy grunge rock, filled with smart tunes and quirky tales. Cue a new single, Jake Miller’s House Party, out on October 30th via Vital Music (timed to coincided with the tour) that shows off all these qualities – packed full off muscular, feedback drenched guitar riffs, classic Nirvana loud/quiet contrasts and these slashy, trashy drums, at least when things get busy. Damn fine tune too.
