Track: The Orielles – Joey Says We Got It, plus tour news

The Orielles are back with a brand new single thoroughly convince you that they’re worth your time. The infuriatingly young trio have consistently impressed us with their tracks – their previous single ‘Space Doubt’ was stuck in my head for days and they always put on a great live show.

‘Joey Says We Got It’ will be released as part of Cassette Store Day 2015 and it’s also the first single from The Orielles that will be released in America. The song itself is held together with shimmering vocals and a catchy beat, taking on a wide range of influences that give the band a fresh new sound. It’s still unmistakably surf-pop, and it’s one of my favourite songs ever released by the talented trio.

The Orielles are also touring this Autumn, visiting Sheffield, Manchester and Leeds as well as a cheeky visit to Cardiff for Sŵn festival. Catch them, if you can. Something tells me that The Orielles aren’t going to be sitting still for very long.

Listen to ‘Joey Says We Got It’ below:
