Australian singer-songwriter Amélie Farren is set to return to North America this autumn, joining Rabbitology and Lilith Max for the Three Wishes Tour, a co-headline run across the United States and Canada from 24 September to 8 October.
Rather than following the traditional support-act format, all three artists will share equal billing, with the running order changing from city to city. The format reflects the growing audiences each artist has cultivated online, while offering concertgoers a different experience at every stop on the tour.
Since the breakout success of her track, ‘Unsweetened Lemonade’, Farren has amassed more than 140 million streams, completed headline tours across Australia (Backseat Mafia covered Farren’s show in Sydney), shared stages with Amy Shark, Rag’n’Bone Man and Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter CAM.
Her debut album, Airheaded, established her reputation for intricate lyricism and emotionally detailed songwriting, blending literary storytelling with understated alternative pop. Recorded in Los Angeles with producer Michael Keenan, Airheaded explored fractured relationships, obsession and emotional vulnerability through a series of interconnected narratives. Tracks including ‘Ocean Sounds’, ‘pickuppickuppickuppickup’, ‘TREAT YOU LIKE A DOG’ and ‘CLEMENTINE’ reveal a songwriter equally interested in character studies as personal confession, with Farren writing every song on the record herself.
With the Three Wishes Tour, Farren returns to one of the markets where her audience has expanded most rapidly. As her international profile continues to grow, the North American run marks another significant chapter for one of Australia’s most compelling emerging songwriters.
