K-pop’s next generation continues its rapid ascent with BABYMONSTER announcing their first-ever Oceania tour, bringing the BABYMONSTER WORLD TOUR [춤 (CHOOM)] to New Zealand and Australia in December 2026.

Presented by Live Nation, the run begins at Auckland’s Spark Arena before heading to Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena and Sydney’s Afterpay Arena, marking the group’s inaugural performances in the region.

Since emerging with pre-debut single ‘Batter Up’ in 2023 and officially launching with BABYMONS7ER in 2024, BABYMONSTER have quickly established themselves as one of the most closely watched acts in contemporary K-pop. The multinational group, featuring members from South Korea, Japan and Thailand, have built their reputation on a combination of powerful vocals, sharp rap performances and a sound that blends hip-hop and R&B influences.

Their first full-length album Drip surpassed one million sales and delivered the title track that propelled the group to new heights on the Billboard Global charts. Follow-up releases, including WE GO UP, further expanded their international footprint, while a succession of streaming milestones and YouTube records has positioned the group among K-pop’s fastest-rising acts.

The upcoming CHOOM tour follows a period of intense activity that has seen BABYMONSTER connect with hundreds of thousands of fans across Asia and North America. With a third mini album scheduled for release ahead of their second world tour, the group’s arrival in Australia and New Zealand signals another step in their increasingly global ambitions.

For local fans, the December shows offer the first opportunity to experience the energy and precision that have made BABYMONSTER one of YG Entertainment’s most promising new acts. As the group enters the next phase of its career, Oceania finally gets its chance to witness the phenomenon firsthand.
