Fresh from joining mgk on his recent arena tour, Missouri singer-songwriter honestav has announced his return to Australia for January 2027, bringing the Sweet American Boy Tour to local audiences.

Born Avrey Freeman in Pierce City, Missouri, honestav first broke through with 2024’s ‘I’d Rather Overdose’, a track that helped establish him as a distinctive voice among a new wave of artists drawing equally from alternative rock, emo rap and acoustic folk. His music reflects a broad range of influences, from Kurt Cobain and Green Day to XXXTentacion, Mac Miller and Noah Kahan, resulting in a sound that is both vulnerable and restless.
