News: Eighties icons Boom Crash Opera announce 40th anniversary ‘Hands up In the Air’ Singles tour across Australia.


It was 40 years ago that Boom Crash Opera hit their stride with a string of epic anthemic singles starting with the band’s debut, ‘Great Wall’ which reached top ten in the Australian singles charts, followed by a string of hits including ‘Dancing In The Storm’, ‘The Best Thing’, ‘CityFlat’, ‘Get Out Of The House’, ‘Onion Skin’, ‘Bettadaze’ and ‘Hands Up In The Air’.

They have just announced an Australian-wide tour to celebrate their 40 years anniversary playing all their old singles. The show will also feature the band’s new single, ‘Latest Hustle’.

The tour will hit every state, kicking off in Queensland on October 3, and running until mid-December with Nick Barker as support with some dates playing with iconic band Models.

Tickets go on sale at 10am this Friday, 4 July and can be bought here. Dates are as follows:
