Somerset-born indie rocker Harri Pick is back with her first release of 2024, the attitude packed fizzer ‘Call Back Home‘. Following a series of standout singles last year that solidified her as a rising talent, the new single showcases a raw intensity and a sauntering, sassy swagger.
Bringing overdriven guitar tones, energetic drums and a driving bass line, the track grows from it’s spoken, sarcasm tinted verse to an anthemic, soaring chorus. Youthful, expressive and reaffirmingly fresh, the single is a radiant example of Pick’s stylistic pop-rock sound.
“I wrote Call Back Home during a really difficult time,” Pick explains. “It’s about reflecting on the end of a relationship and figuring out how to rebuild your life, even when you’re scared about the future—but it all works out in the end.”
With support from BBC Radio 6 and across tastemaker press, Harri Pick’s energetic alt-rock sound continues to evolve. Since her debut EP Dying Youth in 2021, she has established herself as an artist to watch and continues to shine bright with new material.
