Singer-songwriter Steve Stinson returns with ‘Does Anybody Else’, a thoughtful and deeply relatable new single taken from his forthcoming debut album Cocoon, due for release in October 2026.
Born in Stillwater, Oklahoma, and raised between the United States and Australia, Stinson’s life has been defined by movement, change and an ongoing search for meaning. Now based in Papua New Guinea, he brings a distinctly global perspective to his songwriting, blending elements of blues, folk and Americana with rich storytelling and melodic warmth. It became a reflection on that tension between making a living and living a meaningful life.”

“If ‘Always On My Mind’ was the long-term vision, then ‘Does Anybody Else’ is the moment that sparked it,” says Stinson. “It’s about recognising the reality you’re living in and understanding that change begins with perspective. Everybody’s got to start somewhere. But ultimately, I think it really just starts with a change of perspective.”
