News: The Dead South add Hobart date to their Australian tour itinerary.

Dual Juno Award-winning Canadian hillbilly bluegrass band, The Dead South, have added a number of extra shows to their Australian tour, including one in collaboration with Southern Extremities Productions at The Odeon Theatre in Hobart on Saturday, 21st January 2023.

The band, widely known for the sensation that became of the video for ‘In Hell I’ll Be In Good Company‘ announced their Australian tour earlier in 2022 via Live Nation Australia.

The tour comes off of the back of The Dead South’s two most recent releases, Easy Listening for Jerks, Part 1 and Easy Listening For Jerks, Part 2, a pair of companion EPs which explore traditional folk and modern rock anthems alike in The Dead South’s signature boundary-pushing acoustic approach. New videos from the EPs, ‘You Are My Sunshine’ and ‘People Are Strange’ have garnered nearly 10 million views.

Tickets for the Hobart show are available through Oztix here.
