Multi-GRAMMY winners and diamond-certified hitmakers Train are steaming back onto Australian shores for the first time in nearly a decade — and the long wait ends next week.

Kicking off tonight in Perth, the national run will snake through Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney before wrapping up in Brisbane on Sunday 25 May. It’s a stacked night of millennial radio royalty, with KT Tunstall and Jason Wade of Lifehouse along for the ride.

With a 30-year legacy and more earworms than a retro iPod Shuffle, Train are set to serve up a greatest hits buffet — think “Hey, Soul Sister,” “Drops of Jupiter,” “Drive By,” and “Play That Song.” If you’ve ever screamed the chorus of “Hanging By a Moment” out of a car window or danced to “Suddenly I See” in a kitchen, this night is designed for you.

It’s also a big moment for KT Tunstall, whose Eye to the Telescope era is now old enough to legally drink, and for Wade, who’ll be delivering Lifehouse classics to nostalgic hearts around the country.

Train’s last visit was in 2017, but this time, they’re pulling into town with an even longer track record. Their smash “Hey, Soul Sister” is now certified 15x platinum in Australia and has passed a billion streams globally — not bad for a ukulele-powered love song.
