News: WUNDER BETA Shines On New EP ‘Love You To Beats’

WUNDER BETA closes out a triumphant year with the release of her debut EP, Love You To Beats.

A vivid, colourful Bossa Nova-inflected, electro-driven alt-pop project that cements the London-based, Brazilian-born artist as one of 2025’s most intriguing new voices, the EP creates vibrant experimental and atmospheric electronic soundscapes as comparable to Goldfrapp and Bjork, as they are to Morcheeba and Everything But The Girl.

After a steady rollout of three teaser singles that caught the attention of tastemaker press, the full four-track collection arrives as both a creative statement and a personal milestone. Rather than following the well-trodden path of emerging electronic pop artists, WUNDER BETA blends whirling organ arrangements, classical guitar textures, and the warm sway of Bossa Nova with gleaming synth lines and high-voltage production. The result is a sound that feels emotionally exploratory, immersive, and distinctly her own.

A defining feature of the EP is the MOrgana, WUNDER BETA’s own bespoke instrument, which shapes much of the project’s sonic personality. Its spectral tones and experimental versatility help give Love You To Beats its otherworldly glow, binding the tracklist into a cohesive and colourful journey. Across its four tracks, the EP explores self-discovery, vulnerability, and empowerment, presenting a tapestry of dazzling electronica and intimate storytelling.

WUNDER BETA’s path to music is as compelling as the sounds she creates. Growing up in Rio de Janeiro, she began her journey studying Computer Science before entering the world of entrepreneurship and landing a role at one of the world’s largest TV broadcasters. A lost bet brought her to London—alone, without English, and without a safety net. Through determination and curiosity, she built a new life, learning the language and eventually launching a games company that went on to win a BAFTA. Her impact in technology earned her a place on Forbes’ Top 50 Women in Tech, marking her as one of the industry’s most influential figures.

Yet despite these achievements, she found herself yearning for a different kind of creative fulfilment. That search for reconnection led to the birth of WUNDER BETA. Drawing from her world-building experience in game design, she brings the same inventive spirit to her music: constructing emotional landscapes, crafting sonic universes, and inviting listeners to step into them.

Love You To Beats ultimately stands as an experience that bridges nostalgia and futurism, warmth and experimentation. Its electronic palette glows with energy, while its lyrics dig into love, longing, and the solace of the present moment. “I wrote this EP to take you on a journey of emotions,” she says. “Our longing to be loved, feeling lost, and then finding purpose in the present… I wanted to tell people about the magic of living in the now, loving to the fullest, and expanding our souls beyond the skies.”

With its kaleidoscopic beats, dreamy vocals, and subtle Bossa Nova heartbeat, WUNDER BETA’s debut offers a fresh and compelling perspective in the alt-pop landscape. More than a debut EP, Love You To Beats is an invitation to slow down, look up, and feel deeply – if only for the length of one transcendently crafted track.
