News: YUNGBLUD Will Bring His IDOLS World Tour to Australia in 2026

Genre-defying provocateur YUNGBLUD will return to Australia in January 2026, bringing his acclaimed IDOLS world tour to the country for his biggest shows yet. The announcement follows a whirlwind year that’s seen his 24-date North American run sell out in just one minute, his IDOLS album debut at No.1 in the UK, and his reputation as one of modern rock’s most explosive live acts solidify even further.

Presented by Frontier Touring, the IDOLS tour will hit Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth, marking YUNGBLUD’s largest Australian venues to date. Known for his high-octane performances and boundary-blurring sound, the multi-instrumentalist and songwriter has become a global voice for a generation that’s grown up in chaos, carving out catharsis in noise, rebellion, and vulnerability.

Released in June 2025, IDOLS is his most ambitious record yet — a sprawling, emotionally charged rock opera that moves between fury and fragility. Opening with the nine-minute epic Hello Heaven, Hello and featuring the riotous single Zombie, the album pushed YUNGBLUD further into his own creative stratosphere. Critics called it his most personal and sonically adventurous work to date.

The project arrives on the heels of a relentless creative streak: 2024 saw him launch his own festival, Bludfest, and publish his first book, You Need to Exist: A Book to Love and Destroy, which became a Sunday Times No.1 Bestseller. He also released the Paul Dugdale-directed documentary Are You Ready, Boy?, and was personally invited by Ozzy Osbourne to perform the Black Sabbath classic Changes at the Back To The Beginning benefit concert.

This November, YUNGBLUD will release One More Time — a collaborative EP with Aerosmith, led by the single My Only Angel. But it’s IDOLS that defines his current moment: fearless, cinematic, and deeply human.

As he brings that vision to Australian stages, expect something more than a gig — a full-scale communion between artist and audience.
