The New York City-based D’arcy has been building on her early momentum since releasing her debut single ‘Crush‘ late last year, and her star will no doubt continue to rise in 2021 – her new song, a thrilling alt-pop cut called ‘Dangerous’ should be all the proof you need.
Of the song, she says that it is ‘about embodying your inner superhero. It is about getting knocked down again and again, but refusing to give up, and ultimately surprising and surpassing everyone who underestimated you.’ Its themes are reflected in the cinematic video for the song, which we’re premiering today to coincide with the single release.
