Premiere: Velvet Sunset reveal the scuffed beauty of new single ‘I Ride All Night’

French duo Velvet Sunset, aka Max and Eleonore are back with a new single, I ride all night, and we’re delighted to be able to premiere it right here on Backseat Mafia today.

The band mix up this indie rock sound with element of shoegaze and psychedelia in the single, with these scuzzy guitars winding their way around the Eleonore’s vocals, as she sits aloof and rather beautifully over the top of everything. Wavering between ethereal and melancholy, I Ride All Night has this serene beauty about it which leads you back to it again and again.

We spoke to Eleonore from the band and she told us “The inspiration for the song is to go with the flow and with what you love instead and try again despite the obstacles”
