Astral Festival (FKA Bristol Psych Fest), presented by Stolen Body Records, is back for it’s 6th year on 6th July 2019. Over the past six years the festival has grown from a 50 capacity room to a day long event over three of Bristol’s best venues, SWX, The Lanes and Rough Trade. After last year’s festival, organiser Alex Studer decided that it was time to grow the event with a change in name to Astral Festival. Fed up with the restrictions and limitations put on by the name “psych”, it was time to move to Astral. However, nothing else has changed. The festival is still totally independent with its focus on sharing the best music the world has to offer.

The line up for Astral Festival this year includes former Sonic Youth frontman Thurston Moore, psych-y giants Temples, Mattiel, King Khan and the Shrines, Bo Ningen, Slift, L.A Witch, Levitation Room, The Naturals, Gnod, Part Chimp and many more besides. It’s set to be a great day of music.

Tickets are on sale now from www.astralfestival.com.
