A long period of dialogue with his own thoughts, which in turn led to prodding and tweaking at the material he had produced, mean that it’s been six years since Devon Williams released an album. With the help of Dave Carswell [best known for his work with Destroyer] he’s back though, releasing ‘A tear in the fabric’ on May 1st through Slumberland Records.
From it, Williams has released a new video for latest single ‘In Babylon’. There’s a hint of old school indie pop, mixed in with this sun scorched world the likes of Real Estate perpetuate, as the synths and guitars work together to lay the palette for the perfect pop of his songwriting.
