Dirty Projectors have released a video for a new track ahead of their forthcoming seventh album. The track “Break-Thru” features cheery guitar hooks, upbeat vocals, and birds in the video –
The video tells the story of an ever increasing number of birds, apparently attracted by the feel good tune, and the Talking Heads hanging out in a beach bar vibe.
The track is a taste of the new album Lamp Lit Prose, which is out on July 13th on Domino Records. The album will also feature collaborations with Haim and Empress Of, among others, and seems like it is going to be significantly more cheerful than 2017s eponymous release.
