HISS GOLDEN MESSENGER are back with new material, after a busy 2020 including two live albums for the benefit of public schools, but “Sanctuary” is the first new studio track since 2019’s Terms Of Surrender.
With its lush sound and theme of staying safe and hoping for reconciliation, it’s certainly a hopeful song for 2021 that doesn’t try and wish away our problems. With this band’s timeless sound and relevant lyrics, on this evidence, the new album is going to be something special.
