TAKEN from last months brilliant Punisher album, which we frankly eulogised about in our review, Phoebe Bridgers has released a new video for the albums closing track “I Know The End”.
Reflective and hazy, “I Know The End” is baked in gently sizzling synths and an electronic hue, latterly joined by sweeping strings, brushes of eerie guitar and, eventually – brass and chorus as it builds to its glorious conclusion. All of that just serves to accentuate the heavy emotional weight of the track, which with Bridgers vocal melted all over it, targets your feels and brings you to the edge.
