See: Slime releases new video for “Hotdog”, plus London live date

We were already a fan of London based, Newcastle born Will Archer, aka Slime and the stuttering indie/electronic soul of his track Hotdog, but even more so now we’ve seen the brilliant Daniel Brereton directed video for it. While the track saunters along, full of echoey layers of vocals over a soft, shuffling accompaniment, the video is more vibrant – featuring the travels and travails of a solitary human hot dog through the beautiful British countrysie. Soaked in a good amount of pathos, despite it being, well – someone in a Hot Dog suit, it somehow makes it a perfect accompaniment to the insular loneliness of its soundtrack.

Archer has also announced details of a show at London’s Hoxton Courtyard Theatre on September 2nd are on sale now. Tickets available HERE
