Two of Australia’s most distinctive acts have joined forces for a collaboration that has been years in the making. First Nations collective 3% and South Coast indie favourites The Terrys have unveiled new single “All Gucci”, a laid-back blend of hip-hop and indie-rock that finds both groups reflecting on identity, contentment and the pressure to measure success through material things.
Released via 1788 RECORDS / Believe, “All Gucci” sees The Terrys’ sun-soaked guitar work meeting the more restrained side of 3%’s lyrical approach. Nooky and Dallas trade thoughtful verses over acoustic guitars, whistles and harmonies, resulting in a track that feels deceptively relaxed while carrying a deeper message about self-worth and authenticity.
The partnership has been a long time coming. Having crossed paths well before the formation of 3%, the two acts had spoken about working together for years, with their previous collaboration “Ghost of Bendigo” proving popular with both fanbases and becoming a live highlight. According to Nooky, “All Gucci” emerged naturally following a shared run on the Rolling Sets circuit, with The Terrys’ Matt Finch and producer Jamin Tasker helping bring the song to life.
Directed by Jamin Tasker and Samuel Irving, the accompanying video mirrors those themes. Beginning amid designer clothes, Ferraris and harbour-side luxury, it gradually strips away the illusion, finding its centre instead in suburban backyards and everyday moments, suggesting that fulfilment is often found much closer to home.
“All Gucci” follows 3%’s recent single “Welcome 2 Country”, a pointed examination of the complexities surrounding contemporary Welcome to Country ceremonies. The group continue to build a catalogue rooted in Blak power, pride and protest, earning ARIA recognition, multiple NIMA nominations and high-profile performances alongside artists including Denzel Curry.
Meanwhile, The Terrys continue to ride the momentum generated by their self-titled 2025 album and its expanded edition The Terrys (For The People). From their beginnings in Gerringong to a number one ARIA debut and multiple triple j Hottest 100 appearances, the band have steadily cultivated one of Australian indie rock’s most devoted followings and are currently taking their live show across regional Australia.
