Following on from first single ‘Another Day‘, Middlesbrough born singer-songwriter Joe Ramsey has shared the second single from his upcoming EP ‘Making Notes’, with new track ‘Caught In’.
Talking about the new track, Joe Ramsey reveals:
“’Caught In’ is the second single taken from my debut EP ‘Making Notes’ and follows suit from lead single ‘Another Day’. The song is about the feeling of being swallowed up by the world in the midst of the pandemic, not knowing which way to turn or how to act day to day. A positive sounding and upbeat track with contrastingly sad lyricism, I tried to encapsulate the feeling of the whole nation in this unprecedented time. Like you’re static and there’s nowhere to go, and being caught in the middle of it all.”
With one of his best vocal performances, ‘Caught In’ bounces with positivity and hope. An energetic track brimming with catchy hooks and melodies from the huge piano and strummed acoustic all topped off with some tasty lead guitar work and Ramsey’s bright vocals. This is one of the best pop tracks this year.
