LØLØ has teamed up with alt-pop singer Ella Red for a new version of ‘delusional darling’, revisiting the track from her second album ‘god forbid a girl spits out her feelings!’.
Originally released on the April album, ‘delusional darling’ tackles the familiar habit of ignoring an impressive collection of red flags because reality is considerably less appealing. The new version brings Ella Red into the equation after the pair performed the song together each night while Red supported LØLØ on her European headline tour.
The collaboration arrives as LØLØ takes ‘god forbid a girl spits out her feelings!’ across North America on her ‘god forbid a girl goes on tour!’ run. The tour opened in her hometown of Toronto, where Plain White T’s frontman Tom Higgenson joined her onstage following their recent reworking of ‘Hey There Delilah’.
Next comes another reunion with frequent collaborators Simple Plan, with LØLØ joining the band for their arena and stadium dates across Asia. She then heads to Australia for Good Things Festival, playing Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane later this year.
With more than 200 million global streams behind her and appearances spanning Lollapalooza, Slam Dunk, Download and Warped Tour, LØLØ’s year is showing little sign of slowing down.
