Track: Proper Villains – Twenty four seven / Kutumaini

After a three year hiatus, veteran producer Proper Villains returns with a new EP out via Altalnta house music label Psycho Disco! The New York artist is familiar to dancefloors the world over for his originals and remixes, including the much lauded remix of Cataracs’ Bass down low. Made up of two tracks, Twenty Four Seven and Kutumaini the former is bustling house music, complete with hoots and whistles, with the on point bassline keeping things in order and the beats just hinting at the tribal end of things.

The flip clocks in at seven minutes and rolls through the house music cannon, slithers of vocal loops, hypnotic synth lines and clattering, morphing percussion that makes it an instant dance-floor staple.
