Track Review: Julio Bashmore – Rhythm of Auld

Hot on the heels of Simple Love which we loved here on Backseat Mafia, comes a new track, Rythm of Auld, from Bristol house (yes, house) producer Julio Bashmore. It comes ahead of his debut album, which is due to drop next February on his own Boardwalk label.

Close your eyes and be transported back to the days of Studio 54, this is a Disco House belter, one of those hypnotic tracks that hooks you in from the start and projects you on to the dance floor. Soulful vocals provided once again by J’Danna coupled with Lush pads, it’s a feelgood vibe all round, Bring out your Disco Divas.
