Electronic music royalty Sub Focus are back with a new single ‘Just Hold On’, out right now. It’s taken from what they refer to as a long form album project called Portals, which we’ll bring you news of as soon as we learn of it.
Just Hold On Is this bubbling slice of breakbeat / house, electronic popping and tumbling over all the place, with Basement Jaxx vocalist Vila Malinga laying a bittersweet, almost melancholy over it, while Wilkinson provides live drums and the live strings give it that touch of earthiness. Banger.
