The Clockworks have released new single ‘Advertise Me‘ alongwith a striking video to accompany the track. The Irish 4-piece continue to mature their sound and demonstrate a versatile approach, refusing to stick to the same formula as previous singles. The lyrics of James McGregor are again at the forefront but the sonic landscape soars particularly at around the two-thirds mark.
Signed by Alan McGees It’s Creation Baby label on their arrival from Galway in London, The Clockworks continue to garner support, including Steve Lamacq who interviewed James and premiered the single on his BBC Radio 6 Music show.
The release of ‘Advertise Me‘ comes ahead of their debut UK and Ireland headline tour which begins at The Green Door Store in Brighton on 29 September. Full details can be found here.
