Blending indie-rock elements with alt-pop songwriting approach, Tycho Jones captures a vibrant, energetic fluorescence on the bouncing new single ‘Risk to my Reward’.
Built around intertwining guitar lines, tight Boxy drums and pulsing bass, the track instantly evokes an essence of 12:51 era The Strokes whilst Jones’ silky lead vocals contrast the tracks gritty production to great effect. Infectiously cathy melodies, an effortlessly cool, carefree attitude and an unbridled sense of fun, there’s a lot to love about the track.
Speaking about the single, Tycho shares: “Risk to my reward is about the thrill of the chase — the pursuit of a dream, a lover, a friendship. Taking the risks necessary in order to progress and grow.”
