Aldous Harding‘s ‘Warm Chris’ is one of the best albums of 2022. Tonight she played to a capacity crowd at the Sydney Recital Hall. She enthralled and entranced with her strange marionette-like dance moves, as she played a selection of tracks from ‘Warm Chris’ as well as some older songs, including crowd favourite, ‘The Barrel’. The audience was captivated by her quirkiness, at one stage, she revealed that she was so focused that she couldn’t think of anything to say. That didn’t matter, as the music spoke for itself. At the end of the concert, the rapt crowd did not want her to go and Harding and her band received two standing ovations.
