Track: Wildhart – Fantasy

It’s been a bit of a wait for those people who loved Gothenburg trio Wildhart’s debut single ‘Stuck in a Second’, release petty much exactly a year ago. But now their back with a refined sound (one that’s been soaked in fellow countrymen Niki & the Dove and Little Dragon and a new single Fantasy, lifted from their debut EP, EP1 (naturally) out on March 4th.

It’s full of layers of synths, some gluey while others seem bored from 70’s Who records, and almost ethereal vocals that float over the top, as it builds to the chorus and falls away again, swallowed up almost in harmonies. Lovely stuff.
