A Permanent Shadow returns with their latest single, ‘Killer Boys’.
A vibrant, unexpected fusion of two iconic tracks: Adamski’s ‘Killer’ and Sabrina’s ‘Boys (Summertime Love)’ , the track brings a heady mix of nostalgia and reinvention, effortlessly capturing the essence of youthful summers gone by while injecting a darker, post-punk energy into the dancefloor-ready anthem.
At the helm of A Permanent Shadow is CP Fletcher, the enigmatic frontman who has made it his mission to reshape and reimagine sounds with a rotating collective of musicians and producers. With the band gearing up to drop their new EP, Summertime Love, recorded at Barcelona’s Mini Blind Studios, ‘Killer Boys’ serves as the perfect introduction to this fresh chapter.
“With this new covers EP, I wanted to honour the memories of a carefree time when summer anthems were the soundtrack to our lives,” Fletcher explains. “These songs have stood the test of time, and we’ve given them a new lease of life—keeping the spirit intact while making them our own.”
