Australia’s biggest travelling music celebration, Good Things Festival, is gearing up for another huge summer, and with ticket sales surging (Melbourne 84%, Sydney 82%, Brisbane 89%), organisers have unveiled a sprawling list of headline sideshows from across the festival lineup. Festival ticket holders will get first access to presale tickets from October 14, ahead of general release via the Good Things Festival website.

All Time Low
Pop-punk mainstays All Time Low will be celebrating two decades of anthems with a career-spanning set. From early Warped Tour favourites like Dear Maria, Count Me In to modern chart successes such as Monsters (featuring Demi Lovato and blackbear), the Maryland outfit continue to deliver sharp hooks and wry nostalgia in equal measure. Their tenth studio album Everyone’s Talking! lands October 17, with singles Suckerpunch, The Weather, and Butterflieshinting at more melodic bite.
Bad Nerves + Dead Poet Society
UK firebrands Bad Nerves and LA’s Dead Poet Society will share the stage on their first Australian tour. Bad Nerves’ brand of blistering, distortion-heavy powerpop evokes the snarl of The Ramones and the rush of The Strokes, while Dead Poet Society bring brooding, riff-laden alt-rock that has seen them rise from Boston’s DIY scene to global tours with Chevelle and Asking Alexandria.
Cobra Starship
Returning after nearly a decade apart, Cobra Starship bring back their neon-slick blend of pop-rock and electro-funk. Known for crossover hits like Good Girls Go Bad and You Make Me Feel…, the New York crew, led by Gabe Saporta, will turn venues into dancefloors with their unapologetically fun catalogue.
Dayseeker
Southern California’s Dayseeker have evolved from post-hardcore roots into one of heavy music’s most emotionally resonant acts. Frontman Rory Rodriguez channels grief and reflection into soaring melodies, with 2022’s Dark Sunmarking a creative high point. Their new album Creature in the Black Night arrives October 24, and their sideshows feature Banks Arcade, Montgomery, and Headwreck.
Fever 333
Led by Jason Aalon Butler, Fever 333 remain one of rock’s most politically charged and electrifying live acts. With a sound that fuses hardcore, punk, and hip-hop, their mission of resistance and equality runs through albums Strength in Numb333rs and Darker White. They’ll be joined by genre-bending artist Mudrat.
Goldfinger
Pioneers of the late-’90s ska-punk wave, Goldfinger bring decades of energy to the stage. From Here In Your Bedroomto their cover of 99 Red Balloons, the band continue to mix infectious positivity with classic hooks.
GWAR
Intergalactic chaos merchants GWAR descend on Australia once more, promising grotesque humour, satire, and theatrical mayhem. Their outrageous mythology and outrageous stagecraft have made them one of metal’s most unique live spectacles.
Knocked Loose + High Vis
Hardcore titans Knocked Loose return in peak form, touring their ferocious new album You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To. Their sideshows include UK outfit High Vis, whose mix of post-punk and street-level grit offers a melodic counterpoint to Knocked Loose’s crushing intensity.
Lorna Shore + Disentomb + Gravemind
New Jersey’s Lorna Shore continue redefining deathcore’s limits, blending orchestral grandeur with sheer brutality. Their new album I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me promises another step forward. Joining them are Brisbane’s Disentomb and Melbourne’s Gravemind, both cornerstones of Australia’s heavy scene.
Machine Head
Bay Area icons Machine Head remain one of metal’s most enduring and uncompromising forces. Their set will traverse landmark albums from Burn My Eyes to The Blackening, reaffirming why frontman Robb Flynn’s band still crushes everything in its path.
New Found Glory
Florida’s New Found Glory bring decades of punk spirit and sincerity, tracing a legacy that spans gold records, MTV-era hits, and a devoted global fanbase. Their upcoming album Listen Up! marks a new chapter for one of pop-punk’s defining names.
Refused
Swedish legends Refused will deliver their final Australian headline performance, closing a chapter on a band that redefined punk’s possibilities. With The Shape of Punk to Come still reverberating through generations, they’ll be joined by Melbourne garage-punks Delivery and rising trio Baby Mullet.
Scene Queen
Ohio-born artist Scene Queen fuses metalcore with hyper-pop flair. Known for her viral “Bimbocore” sound, she uses pink aesthetics and punchy breakdowns to challenge misogyny and celebrate inclusivity, proving she’s more than just a viral act—she’s a movement.
South Arcade
UK newcomers South Arcade mix pop, rock, and electronic edge, gaining traction with their breakout single Dangerand 2024 EP 2005. Their sharp production and youthful charisma have earned them spots on major stages from Reading & Leeds to their upcoming Australian debut.
The All-American Rejects + Le Shiv
Returning to Australia for the first time in 16 years, The All-American Rejects bring their catalogue of timeless pop-rock anthems—from Swing, Swing to Gives You Hell. They’re joined by Sydney’s psych-pop outfit Le Shiv, one of the country’s most intriguing rising acts.
Wargasm
London’s Wargasm are chaos incarnate—a duo blending electronic destruction and punk aggression. With Milkie Way and Sam Matlock at the helm, their incendiary live shows and singles like Spit and Rage All Over have cemented them as one of the UK’s most talked-about acts.
