Genre-defying Canadian artist bbno$ has announced a run of live shows across Australia and New Zealand this October–November, presented by Handsome Tours and Laneway Presents.

Vancouver native Alex Gumuchian, known professionally as bbno$, has built a reputation as one of the internet’s most distinctive and self-aware artists. With multi-platinum certifications and billions of global streams, he’s best known for the breakout hits ‘Lalala’ (2019), ‘Edamame’ (2021), and most recently, viral tracks ‘it boy’ and ‘two’ (2024).

His latest single ‘mary poppins’, produced by Diamond Pistols (DJ Snake, Austin Millz), embraces the absurd and infectious energy that’s become his signature. Accompanied by a video directed by Shiraz Higgins, 100% of its proceeds were donated to the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund.

bbno$’s live shows are known for their high-octane delivery and irreverent charm, regularly selling out venues across Europe, North America and Asia. He has also built a formidable digital presence through collaborations with some of the world’s biggest creators across TikTok, Twitch, YouTube and beyond — a testament to his dual status as both music artist and internet figure.

A regular fixture on stages from Jimmy Kimmel Live to The Juno Awards and Capital FM’s Jingle Bell Ball, bbno$’s genre-fluid catalogue has been picked up by brands including Netflix, Microsoft, Disney, McDonald’s, MTN Dew, Bose, and more.

His approach to music — playful, subversive, and entirely self-aware — has seen him earn praise from outlets such as Rolling Stone, tmrw, Flaunt, and NME itself.
