Today Low Girl release their anticipated new EP, Uh-Oh, featuring previously released singles ‘Knees‘ and ‘Uh-Oh‘ alongside today’s new focus track ‘Bored‘. The band have received press support from the likes of DIY & Best Fit, while Steve Lamacq has been a big supporter at BBC 6 Music. They will also perform a run of UK shows in February (dates below).

3. Bored
4. Foxtrot
5. Scared

The new EP takes the band to a new level, cementing the exciting groundwork they have put in place over the last 18 months and is released in full with new single ‘Bored’ today. It continues the themes found across their first two EPs–feelings of loneliness, self-worth, mental health and the constant trials and struggles of finding one’s identity growing up.

Citing artists ranging from King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard to King Princess, Phoebe Bridgers as inspiration, the breadth of Low Girls’ influences are clear to hear but never detracts from their own unique identity and innate songwriting ability.

UK Tour Dates
Thu 02 Feb | Cambridge, UK – The Portland Arms
Fri 03 Feb | Hitchin, UK – Club 85
Sat 04 Feb | Portsmouth, UK – Wedgewood Rooms
Sun 05 Feb | St Albans, UK – The Horn
Tue 28 Feb | London, UK – The Lexington

Irish based concert photographer, maybe! ever so slightly addicted to gigs. Listens mostly to alternative / goth / folk punk / punk / ska. I blame the 80s.
