TNS Records have just announced the first acts confirmed for Manchester Punk Festival 2024. Held over the Easter weekend, at various venues off Oxford Road, bands from all over the world descend for 3 days of punk mayhem. Pretty much every sub-genre from Hardcore to Skacore are represented.

Already announced, Hot Water Music, Pissed Jeans, A Wilhelm Scream, and Tsunami Bomb are among the representatives from North America, whilst homegrown talent such as Random Hand, Popes Of Chillitown, Bar Stool Preachers, Menstrual Cramps, Martha, Riskee and The Ridicule, Smoking Gives You Big Tits and Grotbags are also scheduled. Add Dubliner Meryl Streek to the mix, and it’s already enticing enough to grab a ticket now, but be quick, Early Bird tickets have already sold out, With more bands still to be added 2024 looks to be every bit as good as 2023.

Tickets are available here and there is also a Pay By Installments plan, for those of us less flush after the summer. Tickets £105 (plus Booking Fee), for 3 days is excellent value, for what has become the most important Punk Festival in the Calendar after Rebellion.
