Acclaimed singer-songwriter Richard Hawley is set to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his breakthrough album Coles Corner with a series of special reissues and live performances. The newly remastered editions, available from 4th July via Parlophone/Rhino, include a half-speed mastered black vinyl, a deluxe 2CD set featuring B-sides and unreleased acoustic tracks, and limited edition bundles.
Originally released in 2005, Coles Corner cemented Hawley’s reputation as one of the UK’s most distinctive songwriters, blending nostalgic balladry, rock ‘n’ roll, country, and chamber pop into a timeless masterpiece. Featuring standout tracks such as The Ocean, Just Like the Rain, and the sweeping title track, the album remains a fan favorite and a high point in Hawley’s career.
To mark the occasion, Hawley and his band will perform the album in full for the first time, accompanied by a string section at a series of special live shows. The performances begin on 5th July at York’s Museum Gardens, with additional dates—including Blackpool Tower Ballroom and Margate Dreamland—going on sale 14th March.
