Beating out Metallica, Iron Maiden, Tool, and Pantera for the top spot was The Dillinger Escape Plan, living up to their legend as masters of onstage anarchy.
Formed in 1997 in Morris Plains, New Jersey, Dillinger built their reputation on chaos, but it’s the kind of chaos that comes from a formula only they could crack. With six albums under their belt and more bruises delivered than a punk mosh pit in overtime, their legacy remains untouchable. Calculating Infinity, their genre-defining debut, has been heralded as a bible of metallic innovation.
