News: Tom Odell’s Wonderful Life Tour set for Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne in January 2026

Tom Odell is heading back to Australia in January 2026, bringing his Wonderful Life Tour to Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne. It’s a long-awaited return — his first full national run since 2014 — and it follows last year’s back-to-back sellouts at Sydney Opera House.

The tour coincides with the release of Odell’s seventh album A Wonderful Life, a record written in transit and steeped in restless modern anxieties. It captures doomscroll fatigue, fleeting hope, and raw intimacy — songs shaped on tour buses and in hotel rooms but delivered with the warmth of a band playing live in the studio.

Fans can expect a set that pulls from across his career, from the global resonance of “Another Love” (now over 3 billion streams) to the stark, unflinching honesty of new tracks like “Don’t Let Me Go.” Odell’s voice, fragile and fierce in equal measure, remains the anchor — a reminder of why Australian audiences have embraced him for over a decade.

Over the past decade, Tom Odell has grown from a Brit Award-winning newcomer into a globally recognised artist whose music speaks across generations. With over three billion streams of “Another Love,” nearly 700 million plays of “Black Friday,” and an audience of 2.7 million on TikTok, his reach extends far beyond the traditional pop sphere. Yet behind the numbers is a songwriter who has steadily stripped away the gloss, building a career defined by honesty, vulnerability, and connection. As he enters his mid-thirties, Odell’s journey — from breakout single to international tours with the likes of Billie Eilish — reflects an artist who has not only weathered the industry but reshaped his role within it, finding a worldwide community in the process.

The Wonderful Life Tour begins at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on 16 January, continues to Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on 18 January, and wraps up at Melbourne’s Festival Hall on 21 January. Presales open 9 September, with general onsale 11 September via Live Nation.
