Track: Bristol Up & Comer SIG SALI Returns With ‘Sleen’ From Upcoming EP

Bristol-based producer, songwriter, and vocalist SIG SALI unveils his infectious and euphoric new single, ‘Sleen’. The track serves as an exciting preview of his upcoming EP, Chaos In My Mind, showcasing his signature blend of electronic Synthwave and the raw, nocturnal energy of indie rock.

Produced by SIG SALI himself and co-produced by Freddie Cowan (The Vaccines, Freddie & The Scenarios), with mixing by Ricardo Acasuso (The Vaccines), the upcoming EP boasts rich musical arrangements, fusing cinematic synths, bright guitar tones, and striking vocal melodies to create a sound which is at once commercial experimental and vibrantly energetic.

‘Sleen’ reveals the sharper, more direct side of SIG SALI’s artistry through its bright, urgent delivery. While shimmering synths and electronic elements remain at its core, the song leans into spiky guitar riffs and driving drums, infusing it with a pointed indie energy.

Speaking about the track, SIG SALI shares:

“This was the first track I took to Freddie (The Vaccines, Freddie And The Scenarios) to add guitars, and it ended up shaping the whole EP. It was also the moment SIG SALI really became a solo project. Freddie’s guitars pushed the song further, and we ended up co-producing it together.

The chorus is actually about 10 years old! I went back to some old songs and remembered how catchy it was. I didn’t even have to change the lyrics—it just still worked. This one was brutal to finish. I kept sending mixes back to Freddie, and he kept telling me to push it further. I was exhausted, but he was right—it was worth it. When we finally got it done, we were so proud of it that we decided to make a five-track EP.”

The upcoming EP, Chaos In My Mind, reflects SIG SALI’s personal and artistic evolution, merging emotive lyricism with bold, atmospheric production. From pulsating electronic textures to soaring indie-rock guitar lines, he crafts a sound uniquely his own. Each track immerses listeners in the dream-like allure of late-night moments, with distinct moods and narratives woven together through SIG SALI’s alter ego.
