Track: Casey Carmichael Shares Stripped Back & Emotional New Single ‘Hold My Hand’

Singer-Songwriter Casey Carmichael emerges from a two-year hiatus with the stripped back, reflective new single ‘Hold My Hand’.

Balancing a sense of classic 70 singer-songwriters such as Nick Drake and Roy Harper, the track’s simplistic acoustic guitar and vocals arrangement is true to Carmichael’s live performances, showcasing the natural charisma and honest delivery that he is capable of. Carmichael’s vocals, deep, fragilic and resonant, serve as the guiding light through lyrical landscapes adorned with profound sense of wisdom.

A poignant and emotional track, the single is an ode to companionship amidst life’s trials as Carmichael explains:

“Hold My Hand is about overcoming difficult circumstances. We face many challenges throughout life, and when you face these challenges with your partner, it is up to you to reassure them that everything is going to be okay. This song focuses on sticking together through it all and focusing on the light at the end of the tunnel.”
