Track: Kim Gordon Drops ‘Psychedelic Orgasm’ announces live dates

Kim Gordon

Kim Gordon has dropped her new single ‘Psychedelic Orgasm’ today and revealed UK live dates ahead of her new album, ‘The Collective’ which is due for release on 8 March. Looking at the tour dates, one might speculate (hopefully) that there is a spot for some Australian shows-perhaps an appearance at Splendour in the Grass?

The new track has been released with an accompanying video which was directed by musician/filmmaker/producer Vice Cooler. The Los Angeles-set video, featuring rapid cuts and upside-down scenes of dried pumpkins, giant inflatables, and shopping mall escalators, is as mind-bending as ‘Psychedelic Orgasm’ itself. The new track buzzes with industrial noise while Gordon vocalises her observations, as she walks around L.A. it’s a swirling, whirling masterpiece of musical dissonance

This is the third single that Gordon has released off her upcoming album. Previous tracks ‘Bye Bye‘ and ‘I’m a Man‘ have garnered critical acclaim and anticipation for ‘The Collective’ is mounting.
